Dental Insurance

When we change jobs, we usually get new insurance. This can be frustrating if we have to search for a new dentist who is contracted with our new insurance plan.

At Overlake Dentistry, Dr. Lisa Kim made a decision to contract with 99% of the major dental insurance companies for the benefit of our patients. Call us now at 425-747-6580 to find out if we are contracted with your dental plan.

Please note that we are not contracted with medicare/medicaid and HMO dental plans (Delta Care, Apple Care, etc).

Our Courtesy To You

Choosing a dental care provider is one of the most important decisions you can make.  You want someone who is caring, knowledgeable, and accessible.  In addition, you want someone who is willing to take the time to go over all of your options and treat you as a person, not just a patient.

As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claim to your dental insurance carrier. However, we remind you that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, not between your insurance company and our office. We can make no guarantee of any estimated coverage, but we promise to do our best to see that you receive your maximum benefits.   Your dental coverage is subject to your yearly maximum, your deductible, and your eligibility at the time the services are rendered.   Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.  If you would like to know what your expected coverage will be, we will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your dental insurance.

Co-payments and all uncovered services are payable at the time of service.  Additional amounts determined to be your responsibility by your insurance carrier will be billed to you upon receipt of your insurance carrier’s explanation of benefits, and payment in full will be expected upon receipt of your statement.

Payment in full is expected at the time of service, including self-pay patients.  Patients without insurance coverage can receive a 10% discount if paid in full with check or cash on the day of treatment.  Accepted forms of payment include:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard)
